My breakfast routine is that of a man 40 times my age; oatmeal every single day. Ya, it’s great for you and has all sorts of health benefits but for crying out loud, in my head I’m thinking; can I get something different?
Don’t get me wrong, I love oatmeal. I put all sorts of stuff in it to change it up day-to-day, but it gets old! No sooner had I asked the mental question when a container of Forager Cashewgurt appeared in the fridge.
I immediately went to work and decided today I was having a friggin breakfast bowl! I cooked up a bit of tri-color quinoa, got my hemp seeds out, cut up a banana and put it all together adding a nice drizzle of peanut butter.
Praise the people at Forager, my breakfast was saved!
This container was the plain flavor which opens up all sorts of possibilities. On its own I wouldn’t eat it, because… well… it’s plain of course. This was amazing as part of a breakfast bowl. I have even added it to smoothies to thicken them up a bit. Because of its numerous uses, this stuff can be used in anything and everything that calls for dairy yogurt. Not that you are eating that mess anyway, right?!
Forager, I love you! I can’t wait to try out some of the flavored stuff, for now this will become a staple in the fridge.
